I am Alphonso McClendon, a business development consultant who assists organizations in identifying growth opportunities and implementing strategies to achieve their objectives. I provide expertise in areas such as market research, competitive analysis, and sales and marketing strategies. I am involved assessing the current state of a business, identifying areas for improvement, and developing plans to optimize performance and drive growth.
Could you tell us what type of business you have and how long you’ve been operating your business?
I am the owner of a Business Development Firm, where I have dedicated over 15 years to specializing in community-driven business growth strategies. My expertise lies in fostering the expansion of local businesses through effective marketing.
What inspires you to pursue your dreams and goals?
I find inspiration in assisting businesses in achieving their dreams, expanding their horizons, and transforming ideas into reality. Witnessing the restoration of communities and the preservation of their history brings me immense joy.
What are 3 valuable lessons you have learned as a creative and changemaker?
Never take failure as being unsuccessful.
Never doubt yourself.

What is coming up next for you?
Wow! One of my business partners and myself have this wild idea of waging war on gentrification by revitalizing our communities which is not easy but it’s worth it. I am looking forward to this project.
