Complete book design for the Henie Onstad biography of its co-founder, Sonja Henie. The book spans her life, from her childhood in Norway and through her career as a champion figure skater, movie star, collector and patron of the arts. She laid the foundation for Norway’s Henie Onstad Kunstsenter which houses part of her legacy: a formidable collection of 20th century art. The book’s main pages are interspersed with smaller booklets containing longer essays. The main headline typeface was created especially for the project and is blind debossed into the front and back covers which also features tipped-in glossy prints of Henie performing on ice and the equally elegant architecture of the museum’s exterior.
