Graphéine worked with Paris 20th district City Hall to create a new visual identity that would be both impactful and fun, reflecting its “village” spirit. As an agency that has been based in the 20th district of Paris for more than 10 years, Graphéine was keen to design a visual identity that would reflect the district’s warm and popular values.
After a number of graphic experiments, the logotype was given the main name “vingt” (twenty), which reveals a double reading of number and letter, with a “g” that reads “20th” when tilted vertically.
To increase the visibility of this symbol, we devised an editorial concept using words with the letter “g” to represent the “20e” glyph. The sentences provide opportunities for the new emblem to emancipate itself. This living, adaptable identity system creates a brand image that is institutional and and creative for more event-based communications.
