Architectural Concrete Book

This book is dedicated to architectural concrete, a material that allows to create completed architectural objects that fascinate with their integrity, unique colors and tactility, and also effectively solves constructive and aesthetic tasks.

The key concept idea is to design a book that looks like a monolithic concrete slab. This was achieved through the selection of relevant paper materials and printing processes. The book title ‘????????????? ?????’ (Eng. Architectural Concrete) is coded via the round debossed holes which are typical for architectural concrete.

A custom font Concrete Regular was developed specifically for the book. This font is based on font family Rublenaya and supports both Latin and Cyrillic. The geometric grid layout of the book creates an impression of architectural order.
